Kiva Auditorium
Nurse Blake's "But Did You Die?" tour is making a stop at the Kiva Auditorium on Sunday, November 2nd. The Albuquerque venue is set to provide one of the more "personal" experiences of the entire tour. Since it's not such a massive theater, you won't find yourself looking at the show from way up on the third floor. This means that wherever you're sitting, you'll be able to follow along to wacky stories in the medical world that may or may not have actually happened to Nurse Blake.
It's also one of the comedy shows that promises to bring more flair and enthusiasm to the stage. Gone are the days of sad stools and cigarettes serving as the best companions for a comedian. Nurse Blake is back on the road, much to the delight of the fans. On this But Did You Die tour, he'll be able to pick up folks who know him from the live experience while still catering to that TikTok base. It's an interesting experience. Nurse Blake shows are now like those birthdays where you mix your work friends with your buddies from school and your family. In this case, it's usually a younger crowd that knows him from TikTok, and then the older folks are mostly from his health worker base. Whoever's in the house is going to have a blast come Sunday, November 2nd, with this show, that's guaranteed!
Obviously, this is a comedy show, and all of the references to medical situations are used in a way to get laughs. One of the key elements to Nurse Blake's comedy, though, is being able to take serious topics and have some laughs at the expense of those situations. In using some of these topics, particularly on the medical side, he's able to make sure that the show isn't just a full upbeat set where you're forced to smile all the way through. He can weave the audience to make sure you get those ups and downs that make a comedy show unique!
If you've been to the Kiva Auditorium, you know that the seating arrangements are rather basic. You want to treat this like a comedy outing at your local bar? Then your best bet is to find seats in the front rows. From there, the best sight lines are going to be those in section 3. That's the one in the middle. If you're not sitting square in the center of the auditorium, it doesn't mean that your seat's going to be terrible. However, if you can find that middle spot, you'll probably be better off.
