Emerging from Baja, Reik made a phenomenal breakthrough upon releasing their self-titled debut album. The effort broke into the Mexican charts, peaking at number 3, and entered the US Billboards Latin pop charts at number 13. The album later earned platinum status in the U.S. after achieving a massive amount of sales, followed by a triple platinum certification in Mexico. In 2016, the band released their highest charting effort in the U.S. Des/Amor peaked at number 1 on Billboard’s Latin and Latin Pop Charts. All in all, Reik has released six incredible studio albums.
