Who doesn’t remember, or at the very least heard about the Beatle-mania that knocked the world completely off its axis in the 1960s? We’re totally convinced that the person who doesn’t know about the legendary drummer and his boys from Liverpool are yet to be born.
He’s the fifth-greatest drummer of all time, he’s a two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, he’s a groundbreaking drumming force to be reckoned with - and let’s be frank, it doesn’t get more iconic than this. During his career, Ringo Starr inspired many other greats with his playing style, emphasizing feel over technical virtuosity. He is said to be the father of many modern drumming techniques, including the matched grip, downtuned drums, and using muffling devices on tonal rings.
In 1989, 19 years after The Beatles officially broke up, Ringo Starr formed an English supergroup featuring some of the world’s most legendary musicians. The idea of the All Starr Band is that it would feature a rotating line-up, with each iconic musician remaining an individual and icon in his own right. The current line-up of band members is enough to get the nation all Starr-y eyed: Men At Work’s Colin Hay, Average White Band’s Hamish Stuart, drummer Gregg Bissonette, Toto’s Steve Lukather, Kansas’ Warren Ham, and Aerosmith’s Buck Johnson - and what’s even better, Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band will be performing all the hits you love, alongside the ones that come with their band-member owners!
Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band is hitting the road in 2026 again with a 12-date run, bringing a rock and roll party unlike any other to the nation! The North American tour 2026 is set to kick off at the end of May 2026 in Temecula, California, spreading peace, love, and great music to some major venues before taking a bow in mid-June 2026 in Los Angeles, California. We can guarantee that the only empty seats for this tour will belong to those dancing in the aisles!
The iconic Kiva Auditorium has a long history of hosting some of the biggest stars around, and this summer, it will be hosting the All-Starrs too! With the venue’s incredible to-the-minute sound and lighting systems, top-tier acoustics, fantastic sight-lines, ultra-modern amenities, and massive seating capacity of around 2,000 spread across five areas, you’ll have an arena-sized experience, but intimate at the same time! Now this is something to get truly excited about!
